47th Annual ADCNC Outer Banks Conference makes changes in 2010
Dec 3rd, 2009 • Category: Events, Flash AlertThe 47th ADCNC Outer Banks Conference will be held September 28-29 (Wednesday & Thursday) in 2010. The annual Board of Directors meeting will be held September 30 (Friday). In 2010 the Conference will be held at the Clamdigger Inn at Pine Knoll Shores (Atlantic Beach) close to the Trinity Center where it has been held in the past. Participants will be responsible for getting their own room reservations at the Clamdigger by calling 252-247-4155. We have blocked off seventy rooms for the nights of September 27 (Tuesday-for early arrivals), 28, 29 and 30th. All reservations must be made by OB conference participants. Reservations must be made by September 7, 2010 to receive the group rate. That weekend October 1-3, 2010 is the popular Seafood Festival in Morehead City. If you want to stay over the weekend advance reservations are highly recommended as rooms will fill up quickly because of the Seafood Festival. The group rate cost per room for two adults in the room is $60 plus 12.75% tax. This comes to $67.65 per night. All of the rooms are oceanfront with a private balcony, microwave, coffee and coffee maker, hair dryer, iron and ironing board. There is also a pool, jacuzzi and restaurant on site. Check-in time is 4pm or after on September 28, 2010. Check-out is 12pm. If you would like to stay over the weekend the rate is $80 plus tax per night.
Conference cost in 2010 is $225.00 per person (excluding housing). Continental breakfast and lunch will be included. Also included is a dinner cruise on Wednesday night. Other evenings dinner is on your own. Our meetings will be on the second floor.
