What to expect:

This training is designed for healthcare professionals who currently treat, or are interested in treating, citizen soldiers returning from Iraq or Afghanistan and their families.  The program will focus on skills and information to develop rapport with the family member so an accurate screening/assessment for TBI can be completed and an appropriate referral made.

Who should attend:

Physiatrists, rehabilitation professionals, mental health professionals, family physicians, psychologists, social workers, counselors, case managers, psychiatric professionals, nurses, family therapists, clergy, substance abuse counselors, Speech Therapists, Physical Therapists and assistants, Occupational Therapists and assistants
