11th NC Winter School for Alcohol and Drug Studies

The North Carolina Foundation for Alcohol and Drug Studies is pleased to present the eleventh North Carolina Winter School for Alcohol and Drug Studies. The school schedule and format feature an emphasis on in-depth study, social events and a tranquil setting designed to enhance learning and create a spirit of “community” for all participants. The winter school is designed to serve the needs of persons working with chemical dependency, including those delivering clinical services, educators, school personnel, persons in the criminal justice field, and health care professionals. Outstanding faculty possessing excellent credentials and expertise will present ten study tracks. The 2008 Winter School will be affiliated with UNC Wilmington’s Division for Public Service and Extended Education for management of credit records and other specific services.

The School will be held at the Village Inn Golf and Conference Center in Clemmons, NC from February 24 – February 27. Registration for the 2008 Winter School must be received by the NCFADS by 5 p.m., February 11, 2008, using the School’s registration form. The registration form may be found at http://www.ncfads.org/registration2.html. Tuition cost is $415 and includes 23 hours of SA credit; instruction; refreshments; Sunday & Tuesday evening dinners and a free t-shirt.
